About the event

Brought together exclusively for the 79th Festival, join us for our final panel discussion of the Learning from the Lowcountry Series at the historic American Theater. To underscore the ways in which women courageously overcame longstanding barriers and defied social norms and stereotypes, we will hear from present day trailblazers such as Susan Pearlstine, Cokie Cox, Jessica Munday, and Stephanie Hunt. The culminating achievements of these women not only represent progress through perseverance, but the ever-present ingenuity to build a future for the women who follow in their footsteps. Join us with this incredible panel to uplift the stories of women from Charleston's History who paved the path we tread today.

Experts at the American Theater is a specially curated educational program at the historic property off of King Street. Tickets are required for each program.
