In the opening weekend for The Charleston Festival, Historic Charleston Foundation is thrilled to present Charleston by Design. A celebration of preservation and design, this opening weekend of The Charleston Festival will feature a captivating Design in Mind Lecture Series, Designer Vignettes, Home Design Tours and more. Charleston by Design is March 14 through 17.
In the final Design in Mind lecture, sit down with award-winning architect and leading expert on contemporary classical architecture, Gil Schafer, and renowned London-based designer and writer, Rita Konig, to learn about their inspiration, process, and collaboration. Join us on March 16th for Gil and Rita's talk, “You Say Tomato, I say…” Snapshots from a Decade of Transatlantic Design Collaborations.
Each Design in Mind lecture will be followed by a breif book signing, if applicable. Space is limited and tickets are required.
