Step into the romantic Nathaniel Russell House Garden for the Bubbles and Blooms cocktail event—an enchanting evening where the soft sparkle of prosecco meets the historic charm of one of Charleston’s most iconic landscapes. Located South of Broad, this early 19th-century formal garden is part of the Nathaniel Russell House (c. 1808), a National Historic Landmark celebrated for its architectural elegance and its significance in telling the complex story of Charleston’s past.

Completed in 1808 for wealthy merchant Nathaniel Russell and his family, the mansion is renowned for its free-flying staircase, intricate Adamesque plasterwork, preserved domestic spaces, and its intact urban landscape—one of the finest surviving examples in the United States. Today, the house offers important insight into Charleston’s Federal-era elite as well as the lives of the enslaved individuals who lived and labored on the property.
